- Entry Periods: The Winter Sweepstakes consists of two separate entry periods. The first beginning on October 30th and ending on November 30th and the second beginning on December 1st and ending on December 30th.
- Eligibility: Open to California residents only, 18+. Online entrants must have successfully opened a checking account at SF Fire Credit Union and register for online banking by December 5th for the first entry period and by January 8th for the second entry period. Only one entry per person.

Active and retired Fire Department employees qualify for a 0.10% rate bump on these term certificates. Rate bump is the same for SFFD and Non-SFFD alike.
Term Certificates have a required minimum deposit of $250.
Fees or other conditions could reduce the earnings on the account. A penalty may be imposed for withdrawals before maturity.
