SF FIRE CREDIT UNION 75TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The official sponsor (“Sponsor”) of the SF Fire Credit Union 75th Anniversary Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is San Francisco Fire Credit Union (“SF Fire CU”), located at 3201 California Street, San Francisco, California 94118.

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to natural persons who are legal residents of the State of California and are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.

Membership in SF Fire CU is not required to enter. However, because the prize will be awarded in the form of an SF Fire CU Term Certificate, the selected winner must be eligible for membership with SF Fire CU and satisfy applicable account-opening requirements in order to receive the prize.

Employees and officials of SF Fire CU, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate or win.

For purposes of these Official Rules, “immediate family member” includes a spouse or domestic partner, parent, child, legal guardian or dependent, or sibling.

Void where prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to verify an entrant’s eligibility before awarding the prize.

3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on September 14, 2026, at 8:00 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on October 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM PT (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Entries received outside of the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible individuals may begin the entry process by completing and submitting the RSVP form for SF Fire Credit Union’s 75th Anniversary Celebration at sffirecu.org/75years.

An RSVP alone does not constitute an entry into the prize drawing.

To complete entry, eligible individuals must also check in at the SF Fire Credit Union booth in Noe Valley Town Square on October 6, 2026, no later than 6:45 PM PT.

Upon verification of the individual’s RSVP and completion of event check-in, the individual will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry and will be included in the random prize drawing.

Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per eligible person.

No purchase, payment, account opening, deposit, or SF Fire CU membership is required to enter or be selected as a potential winner. Any membership or account-opening requirements necessary to receive the prize will be satisfied as described in Sections 7 and 8.

Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, transferred, altered, or otherwise do not comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

5. Event Check-In and Presence Requirement

The prize drawing will take place during SF Fire Credit Union’s 75th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Noe Valley Town Square in San Francisco, California.

To be eligible for the drawing, entrants must:

  1. Complete the event RSVP during the Sweepstakes Period;
  2. Check in at the SF Fire Credit Union booth in Noe Valley Town Square by 6:45 PM PT; and
  3. Receive one (1) numbered Sweepstakes entry slip from an SF Fire CU representative.

Entrants who do not check in by 6:45 PM PT will not receive a Sweepstakes entry and will not be included in the prize drawing.

Entrants must be present at the event at the time of the drawing to win.

The holder of the selected Sweepstakes entry must identify themselves to an SF Fire CU representative when the winning ticket is announced. If the selected entrant is not present, cannot be located, does not respond within 5 minutes, or is determined to be ineligible, the entrant will forfeit the prize and Sponsor may select another ticket at random.

Sponsor may conduct another random drawing from remaining eligible sweepstakes entries. Sponsor may repeat this process until an eligible winner who is present is confirmed.

6. Winner Selection and Odds

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible Sweepstakes entries issued to entrants who completed the required onsite check-in by 6:45 PM PT.

The drawing is anticipated to take place at approximately 7:00 PM PT on October 6, 2026.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible tickets distributed.

All decisions of Sponsor regarding the administration of the Sweepstakes, entrant eligibility, ticket validity, and selection of the winner are final.

7. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:

$750 to fund an eligible SF Fire Credit Union Term Certificate.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $750.

The winner may select from the SF Fire CU consumer Term Certificate terms available and eligible for opening at the time the prize is awarded, subject to applicable product terms, conditions, and availability.

The $750 prize amount will be provided by SF Fire CU and deposited into the winner’s Term Certificate. The winner will not be required to contribute additional funds toward the $750 prize amount.

The Term Certificate will earn the Annual Percentage Yield (“APY”) applicable to the selected certificate term at the time the certificate is opened. Rates and APYs may vary by term and are subject to change.

Once opened, the Term Certificate will be subject to SF Fire CU’s applicable account agreements, disclosures, maturity provisions, and early withdrawal penalties.

The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise required by law.

8. Membership and Account Opening

If the winner is not already an SF Fire CU member, the winner must meet SF Fire CU membership eligibility requirements and complete all documentation and verification required to establish membership and open the Term Certificate.

The potential winner must complete the required account-opening process within 60 days after notification or the prize may be forfeited. Sponsor will waive any membership fee required solely to establish the account necessary to receive the prize.

If the selected winner is not eligible for SF Fire CU membership or cannot satisfy applicable legal or regulatory account-opening requirements, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

9. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with acceptance or receipt of the prize.

Sponsor may require the winner to provide information or documentation necessary to comply with applicable tax reporting requirements.

10. Verification of Winner

Before the prize is awarded, Sponsor may require the potential winner to provide valid identification, proof of age and California residency, and any other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.

The potential winner may also be required to sign an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability release, prize acknowledgment, or other documentation reasonably required by Sponsor.

Failure to provide requested documentation within the timeframe specified by Sponsor may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who Sponsor determines has attempted to tamper with the entry process, circumvent these Official Rules, submit fraudulent entries, interfere with the administration of the Sweepstakes, or otherwise act in an unfair or disruptive manner.

If the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned for reasons beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if appropriate, select a winner from eligible entries received before such action.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries or for technical, internet, website, telecommunications, or other failures that may affect participation in the Sweepstakes.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless SF Fire CU and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from claims arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, except where such release is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

13. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name and likeness in connection with announcing the winner and promoting the Sweepstakes without additional compensation, subject to applicable law.

14. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with SF Fire CU’s applicable privacy policies and will be used to administer the Sweepstakes and for other purposes permitted by law.

15. Choice of Law

The construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules and the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from the Sweepstakes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts located in San Francisco, California.
