*Limited-time promotional offer valid November 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Eligible SF Fire Credit Union Visa credit cardholders will earn 7.5 points per $1 spent on eligible net purchases made with the credit card at qualifying gas stations and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, up to $2,000 in qualifying purchases per calendar month. Qualifying gas and EV charging purchases above the $2,000 monthly cap will earn the standard 1 point per $1 spent.
This promotion applies only to eligible SF Fire Credit Union Visa credit cards. SF Fire Credit Union Visa debit cards are not eligible and do not earn rewards.
Existing eligible credit cardholders will automatically earn the promotional rate during the promotional period. New eligible credit cardholders may begin earning the promotional rate after account opening and card activation on qualifying purchases that post during the promotional period. No enrollment is required.
All other eligible net purchases made with an eligible SF Fire Credit Union Visa credit card earn the standard 1 point per $1 spent. Eligible gas and EV charging purchases made outside the promotional period also earn the standard 1 point per $1 spent.
Qualifying purchases are determined by the merchant category code assigned to the transaction by the payment network. A merchant’s business type, location, or the items purchased do not necessarily determine how a transaction is coded. SF Fire Credit Union does not control how merchants or payment processors classify transactions. Purchases not processed under an eligible gas station, automated fuel dispenser, or EV charging merchant category code will not qualify for the promotional earn rate.
Rewards are earned on eligible net purchases after returns, credits, and adjustments. Cash advances, cash-like or cash-equivalent transactions, credit card checks, balance transfers, fees, interest charges, returned purchases, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, and other transactions that do not qualify as purchases do not earn rewards.
Eligible purchases must post to the credit card account during the promotional period to receive the promotional earn rate. Transaction dates and posting dates may differ. Bonus points may take additional time to appear and will be credited in accordance with the SF Fire Credit Union credit card rewards program terms.
