For an iOS device:

If you’ve already registered for Online Banking, you’ll use the same Username and Password information for the Mobile Banking app. If you haven’t already registered for Online Banking, you can register directly through the Mobile Banking app by clicking “Sign up now”.

Mobile Deposit allows you to capture an image of the front and back of a check you wish to deposit. It records the account information from the check and processes the deposit electronically (in your transaction history, it will be described as a Shared Branch Mobile Deposit).

Before you start the deposit, be sure to endorse the check (include your name, member number, and “For mobile deposit only to SF Fire Credit Union”)

1. From the menu, tap Deposit Check
2. Tap on the name of the account to which you want to deposit
3. Enter the amount of the check to deposit
4. Tap on “Check Front” to launch the camera and follow the on-screen instructions
5. Repeat for “Check Back”
6. Once the images are saved, click Deposit Check.

Funds may not be immediately available. You’ll receive a receipt notification via email once the Mobile Deposit has been successfully posted. Please note the deposit number on the back of the check, and retain the check for two weeks.

Make sure you are taking the photos in a well-lit environment with a solid background for contrast with the check.

If you get a camera error, you may need to update the Privacy settings for your camera to allow the SF Fire CU Mobile App to access it.

You can add or edit Account Nicknames in either Online Banking or our Mobile Banking app:

In Online Banking:

You have two options for editing  Account Nicknames in Online Banking:

1. Click on the desired account from the Dashboard
2. In the new panel that opens with transaction details, click the pencil icon next to the account name
3. Change the account nickname and click “Save”

Via Settings:

Alternatively, you can follow these steps.

1. Click on Settings (found by clicking on your name in the upper right-hand corner)
2. Click on Accounts
3. Click the pencil icon next to the desired account
4. Change the account nickname and click “Save”

In the Mobile Banking App:

1. Click on Settings in the menu
2. Click on Accounts
3. Select the desired account
4. Change the account nickname, click “Done,” then click “Save”

You can also assign each account a custom color that appears on the Dashboard for Online Banking and your list of accounts in the Mobile Banking application.

Please note: You can assign nicknames to any type of deposit accounts (checking, savings, term certificates). You can also assign nicknames to some, but not all, loan account types; for instance, First Mortgages and Business Loans cannot have nicknames assigned.
