SAMSUNG PAY

Only Samsung smart devices with software compatible with the Samsung Pay app. 

Most in-store merchants will prominently display the ability to accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay for contactless payments. These merchants will have payment terminals with Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities, which will typically be indicated by an icon that looks like a wi-fi signal. 

Online merchants who also support Digital Wallet payments will typically offer that choice on the payment screen as you are checking out.

When you use a Digital Wallet service such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, your card(s) are assigned a digital account number that is not the same as your physical card number. Additionally, individual transactions are authorized with biometric verification through your device, and transaction data is encrypted with one-time transaction  security codes that cannot be reused, so the transaction information cannot be used to fraudulently obtain your account information.

You’ll give them the last four digits of the Digital Account Number assigned to your card, which you can find within the card information in your Digital Wallet service. 

Once your card is closed as lost or stolen, your Digital Wallet transactions will not succeed until you activate a new card. 

Yes. Your plastic card number is not used for Digital Wallet services, so while you should contact us to suspend the active Digital Wallet digital account information, you can still use your physical card. 

Yes, in-app or website transactions use the same security features with your Digital Wallet service as when you make a purchase in-store: your digital account number and a one time transaction security code. Your actual card information is never sent to the app or website.
