  • Make contributions with money you've already paid taxes on
  • Under most scenarios, no taxes at withdrawal (please consult your tax advisor)

 

Note: for Roth IRAs, you must have employment compensation

 

Contribution limitsfor 2019 and 2020 are:

  • Age 49 and under: $6,000
  • Age 50 and above: $6,000 + $1,000 catch-up
